NIPPAN IPS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is engaged in business activities centering on Welfare Service for Expatriates, Books and Magazine Export Wholesale, Books and Magazine Import Wholesale and Publishing Support Service.
Personal information obtained from customers and personal information of the employees (including specifiｃ personal information, hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information") through the business activities is essential information and the Company recognizes that it is its important social responsibility to protect such Personal Information.
Therefore, the Company handles such Personal Information in accordance with the following policy to provide trust and secutiry to the customers and employees and to fulfill its social responsibility with respect to the protection of Personal Information.

1．Acquisition, use and provision of Personal Information
- ・The Company will collect Personal Information by lawful and fair means.
- ・The Company will use Personal Information only within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
- ・In case of providing Personal Information to a third party, the Company will make sure that it has the prior consent from the individual concerned.
- ・The Company will not make an unauthorized use of the acquired Personal Information. Also, the Company will take necessary measures for prevention.
- ・In the event of handling Personal Information to an extent in excess of the purposes of use, the prior consent of the individual concerned will be obtained with regard to the purposes.
2．Laws and Ordinances
The Company will endeavor to keep abreast of laws and ordinances, guidelines and other norms established by the government related to the business of handling Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as "Laws and Ordinances,"), and will ensure that all employees engaged in its business (hereinafter referred to as "Employees") are aware of and comply with such Laws and Ordinances.
3．Security Management of Personal Information
- ・The Company will establish and maintain a system to take prompt corrective measures for the safe management of Personal Information in order to prevent various risks such as unauthorized access to Personal Information, leakage, loss, or damage of Personal Information.
- ・The Company will conduct inspections and promptly correct any violations or accidents that are discovered, and implement preventive measures to address any weaknesses.
- ・The Company will ensure that all Employees are thoroughly trained in safety issues.
4．Complaints and Consultations
For complaints and consultations regarding the handling of Personal Information, the Company has established a Personal Information Inquiry Desk and built a system that enables it to respond promptly.
5．Continuous Improvement
- ・The Company's Personal Information protection management system will be monitored and audited for compliance with internal rules for the protection of Personal Information to detect violations, incidents, accidents, and weak points, which will be reviewed by the management of the Company.
The results will be reflected in management measures and internal rules, and efforts will be made to continuously improve the Personal Information protection management system. - ・Improvements will be made in accordance with laws and JIS Q 15001.
